How to use Water-Decals

It’s been a really busy couple of months, and we wanted to start this blog post by saying a huge thank you to all of you for your support. All of our customers and followers mean the world to us, without you guys none of this would be possible – you guys are the best!

So, it’s been a little while since we’ve introduced any new nail stencil designs or products to the online store. Over the next couple of months we will be introducing more stencil designs such as houndstooth and mini chevron frames to the collection. We’re also branching out and are introducing water-decals such as the Feather Water-Decals that are featured in this post.

These beautiful multicoloured feather nail decals are so detailed. We love water-decals; they’re the perfect (beginners) alternative to freehand nail design, and they look really impressive!

Simply transfer this detailed design onto your nails, blow off any excess water (hairdryers are super helpful with this step) and seal with a top coat.

1. Be delicate, water decals are very thin and can tear easily. Use tweezers to move the decal from the paper to the nail.

2. Gently slide the decal around the nail until your happy with placement, this will help avoid air bubbles – use a little more water to help.

3. Leave the decal submerged in water for 30 seconds, it should easily come off the backing paper – don’t force it.

4. Wait a minute before applying a top coat to avoid smudging the ink.
